Engravings, key cuttings & more at Dawsons, Todmorden

Our shop offers a variety of metal products and ironmonger services and has been open for nearly 100 years. We’ve spent a considerable amount of time using high quality metal items at home and now sell our favourites in our shop. And just as you expect we offer key cutting, master engraving and metal repair work. We’re open throughout the week, but be sure to check out our opening times to avoid disappointment!

General Hardware

We stock a great range of everyday hardware for your home, office and even commercial projects. Our carefully selected items are known for their outstanding quality and uncompromising durability. Items include paint, a collection of every day tools, nick-nacks and fixing screws. Our stock changes regularly so drop by for the latest items and prices.

Engraving

Since 1920, when we first opened, we’ve had a lot of practice engraving trophies, shields and unique objects. We’ve passed unique skills to each generation and have perfected the art of personalising treasured household, club and award items. Prices vary depending on the size and detail required, we recommend you call ahead if you’d like something special worked on so we can provide an estimate.

Key Cutting

We offer an extra special key cutting service to every customer. We’ll help cut a key just as you’d expect, but we’ll help you choose a fancy colour and style if you’d like. We can cut standard household keys as well as larger, safer and heavier padlock keys in any quantity you’d like.

Kitchenware

We stock a small set of kitchen items available for purchase which includes pots & pans, cutlery, flasks and extra tough utensils perfect for home baking. If you’re not sure what you need we’ll help you choose quality items for your kitchen that’ll satisfy even the pickiest guests.
